Three Pre-Defined Optimization Offerings:

 

Remote Optimization Service – 4 hours
(4 hours Remote)

  • Remote optimization services for customers of any size, and all customers under 1,000 endpoints.

  • Key activities typically include: (i) review hardware, configuration, and settings of the BigFix server and database; (ii) review of the overall deployment usage, configurations, and settings against BigFix best-practices for BigFix consoles and BigFix agents; (iii) review BigFix deployment details, configurations and bandwidth throttling; (iv) run performance tests for BigFix server insertion rates, BigFix console refresh rates, BigFix client agent responsiveness, and any other performance tests deemed necessary, and (v) project management.
     

This offering consists of no more than four (4) hours of service to be delivered remotely via a secure web conference.

 

Remote Standard Optimization Service – 16 hours
(16 hours Remote)

  • Deployment service size: Customers with up to 5,000 endpoints.

  • This service is recommended annually for best results.

  • Key activities typically include: (i) review hardware, configuration, and settings of the BigFix server and database; (ii) review of the overall deployment usage, configurations, and settings against BigFix best-practices for BigFix consoles and BigFix agents; (iii) review BigFix deployment details, configurations and bandwidth throttling; (iv) run performance tests for BigFix server insertion rates, BigFix console refresh rates, BigFix client agent responsiveness, and any other performance tests deemed necessary, and (v) project management.

     

This offering consists of no more than sixteen (16) hours of service to be delivered remotely via a secure web conference over the course of two (2) business days.

 

On-site Standard Optimization Service – 16 hours
(16 hours On-site)

  • Deployment service size: Customers with 5,000+ endpoints.

  • This service is recommended annually for best results.

  • Key activities typically include: (i) review hardware, configuration, and settings of the BigFix server and database; (ii) review of the overall deployment usage, configurations, and settings against BigFix best-practices for BigFix consoles and BigFix agents; (iii) review BigFix deployment details, configurations and bandwidth throttling; (iv) run performance tests for BigFix server insertion rates, BigFix console refresh rates, BigFix client agent responsiveness, and any other performance tests deemed necessary, and (v) project management.
     

This offering consists of no more than sixteen (16) hours of service to be delivered on-site over the course of two (2) business days.
